Description
Stunning Victorian Scottish Malachite agate Anchor brooch made of Sterling and marked 925. The design is to represent Hope with an intricate rope also made of Sterling. The ring at the top could be used as a bale to hang this brooch as a pendant. The brooch is all original and in lovely condition. Most Scottish jewelry is not marked, but this is. The anchor measures a hair over 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches wide. Nice engraving on the silver face. No problems with this nice brooch. The malachite is completely intact with no flaking or chips.
